and oh, our first photo since well, er, last year

went skating with the Mao today. finally! the skates have been sitting idle in a corner for Far too long.

was good fun, think we went to the end of east coast (almost) and back. was nice sitting under a tree on some bench, watching sailors scuttle around and enjoying the breeze. and of course, the company. sometimes silent conversations are the best remedy for this crazy, technicoloured life we lead, when you never really have any genuine silence. we lost ourselves for almost half an hour, and then decided to head back to the land of the living hahah

then we wandered around parkway, popping into random stores and buying random things (although Mao's haul was anything but random. thank me, quick)
