life's not just about exams or work, but more so about the time when you caught your friend's eyes rolling in sync with yours to some inane comment someone else made, or when you were hunting for super pandas (haw haw haw).. or mimicking lecturers' horrid ack-shents. it's not about giggling; it's about laughing, heartily, loudly and without feeling self-conscious.

these little things give me reason to smile every day

i guess sometimes we get so caught up with what we're supposed to do that we fail to notice what we're unconsciously doing to those around us.

but it's nice when friends remember to call, even though they were supposed to two nights ago. it's nice when a friend comes up to you and grabs you in a fierce hug, which says silently but surely, i love you. it's nice when you bump into someone whose eyes light up upon seeing you, who yammer non-stop the next ten minutes while you listen, blank but happy nonetheless.

sometimes i just want to be loved, every day.
