windows sucks. and my infected cf card is proof of this. for a moment, i thought all of my 769 photos were gone. thank god for that not being the case. graaaah. see what crud you can pick up at an internet cafe? and also... i never knew burning dvds were more than a drag and drop affair. bloody windows.

and here's a hello, live from ao nang! (which sucks by the way, i don't really mean the exclamation mark). where we were before this, kata beach on phuket, was 32896412 times better. the food, the people, the location........... blah. so am currently in a bit of a funk and pissy with the people because they really are quite a sulky bunch relative to their neighbours in kata. grumble. weather has been terrible. who goes out on the beach with a brolly?? god. we're going out on a longtail to islands tomorrow, prease pray that the waves don't consume us. and i'm bringing Blacky out to try and get some nice pictures.

for once, it feels good to not give two hoots about what you think, feel or say, because at this time tomorrow i'll be two hours away from where you are. and lately, it hasn't been easy being around you. don't say that i'm taking flight from this nest too quickly, because frankly, this bird needs some space. and this bird doesn't appreciate being told that it, or, something isn't natural. because right now, i am evolving. and at this juncture in my life, you're either with me, on my side, or not at all.
